Cheat Sheet for the Internet

This cheat sheet helps me understand "news" about the internet, in humorous order.

Venture Capitalists: A cabal that buys and sells start-ups for profit. Everything they do is to squeeze as much wealth from every investment.

Bloggers Working for Venture Capitalists: Lackeys that write to support a cabal of Venture Capitalist's investments. Everything they do is to scrape a pittance from each article and help to increase the wealth of Venture Capitalists.

Google: An Ad network that collects data about individuals and sells the information to advertisers. Everything they do is to sell more ads at higher rates.

Amazon: A store that sells merchandise to customers and collects customer data so as to sell them more merchandise. Everything they do is to sell more merchandise at higher prices.

Microsoft: A software company that sells software to middle marketers and direct to consumers. Everything they do is to sell more software. Not so much an Ad network.

Apple: A hardware vendor that sells hardware direct to consumers. Everything they do is to sell more hardware.

Paypal: A money transfer agent that retains a percentage of every transaction. Everything they do is to skim more money off of every transfer.

Samsung: A hardware seller that sells direct to consumers and to cellular company middle agents. Everything they do is just like Apple but a little worse.

Ebay: A consignment shop. Everything they do is to auction more merchandise.

Yahoo: A meat grinder for start-ups. I have no idea what they do.
