Bad Updates

I like PhatPad.¹ I really do. Its handwriting recognition on iPad is unbeatable. But boy, did they hurt their ratings with this last update.

It required an uninstall before updating.

Most reviewers don't read the update notes. That "Update All" button is just too tempting. I don't know the technical motivations for requiring an uninstall before updating, but I'm pretty sure it's not going to make anyone happy. Uninstalling an app is the first step to never using it again.
